It is Honorable to Meet the New Vietnamese Ambassador in the UK

Visa Anh Quoc, formerly known as Alstern Solicitors, was invited by VBUK to attend a meeting with the new Vietnamese ambassador. It was a privilege for us to participate in such an esteemed gathering, where we discussed and exchanged insights about the development of VBUK with the new ambassador, as well as explored ways to enhance UK-Vietnam international trade relations.

According to recent trade data, the UK-Vietnam trade relationship has been growing robustly. In 2023, bilateral trade between the two countries reached approximately £6.6 billion, marking a significant increase from previous years. This growth has been driven by sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and services, which have seen substantial investment and development.

This dialogue allowed us to exchange views with the Ambassador on promoting trade between Vietnam and the UK. We explored various avenues to facilitate smoother business transactions, reduce trade barriers, and enhance cooperation in key sectors. A significant portion of the discussion was devoted to fostering a robust Vietnamese community in the UK. The Ambassador highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and support for Vietnamese businesses and professionals, aiming to cultivate a thriving and dynamic community.

Visa Anh Quoc remains committed to supporting and advancing initiatives that strengthen trade relations between Vietnam and the UK. We believe that continued dialogue and collaboration will yield substantial economic benefits and foster a prosperous partnership between our nations.
